Please note that this Decline in Value Request is an informal review by the Assessor.  In order to preserve your legal rights to appeal, you must file an "Application for Changed Assessment" which may be obtained from the Clerk of the Assessment Appeals Board, and must be filed with the Clerk on or before November 30, 2012.  If you do not hear back from the Assessor regarding your decline request before November 30, 2012, you must file an appeal with the Clerk to preserve your rights. 

 

If the Assessor does not approve your Decline in Value request, you may reapply for an informal decline next year.
